Our Story

Hatching success: One chick at a time

SSN Farms Ltd began with a dream - a dream to empower Uganda's poultry farmers and revolutionize the industry. Founded by a group of passionate international investors, our journey is fueled by a deep-rooted commitment to excellence and innovation. With 30+ years of expertise in the international poultry industry, our founders have dedicated their lives to providing the highest quality chicks, feed, commercial eggs, and commercial broiler meat to the country. But SSN Farms Ltd is more than just a poultry business; it's a beacon of hope for farmers across Uganda.

Our state-of-the-art hatchery, powered by Hy-Line genetics, is at the heart of our operation. Here, each chick is nurtured and cared for, ensuring they grow up to be healthy, high-performance birds.

But our story doesn't end there. It's about the farmers who have placed their trust in us, the families who rely on us for their livelihoods, and the communities we serve. It's about making a difference, one chick at a time.
